Cherry Tree Academy Science Project

Year 3 have been waiting months to dig up their PANTS!

As part of their Science unit on Soil, year 3 planted pants back in April to investigate decomposition. Their patience was rewarded as today they dug them up and were AMAZED by the results- they concluded that the pants buried in the bark area decomposed quicker than the pants buried on the field due to the soil being more crumbly so, having much more gaps for both oxygen and the bugs to aid to the decomposition of the pants.
