Local Governance

We believe in strong governance. Each school that joins the MAT may maintain its own Local Governing Board (LGB).  

Our governance is led by a number of Trust documents but principally by the Trust’s  Governance Handbook which includes its Scheme of Governance Management and Scheme of Delegation.

The Board of Trustees recognises the contribution made by Governors – they appreciate that they are critical to our schools’ success through their scrutiny, monitoring, support and challenge. As such Governing Bodies are being re-established in all schools and will be up and running shortly.  Those currently in operation are listed below.
